FACIAL TYPES AND HAIRDRESSING

Heart-shaped faces

For Heart-shaped face (with pointy chin) a blunt (straight) haircut below the chin is excellent.
Side-swept bangs are excellent.
A haircut with layers all over (V1L4)  and a blowdry of V2L3 (partially outwards) are a good combination.
A haircut with layers at the bottom (V1L3)  and a blowdry of V2L7 (all outwards) are also another good combination.
If you have a haircut with layers in front (V1L2) a good blowdry to accompany it would be V6L4 (advanced lessons).
A straight blowdry (V2L2) with parting on either side would be best.Avoid parting in the middle which would emphasize the long chin.
When blowdrying, do whatever you have to do to get volume around the chin area, eg; loose curls, outwards wispy ends, etc. The objective of all the hairstyles above for this facial type is to camouflage or cover up the long chin by puffying the hair on the sides (around the jaw).
